Are there planes in GTA 6?
Yes. Aircraft appear in official footage, including light aircraft and a blimp. We have identified 6 so far, though Rockstar has published no list.
Can you fly helicopters in GTA 6?
Helicopters appear in official material, including police variants. 7 have been identified. Rockstar has not detailed flight mechanics.
Are boats important in GTA 6?
Almost certainly. The map centres on a coastal state with an island chain and extensive wetlands, and boats feature prominently in both trailers — but Rockstar has not described how central they are to the story.
When does GTA 6 come out?
19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar moved the date twice — first from an unspecified 2025 window to 26 May 2026, then to 19 November 2026.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC version or a date for one. Every recent mainline Grand Theft Auto has reached PC eventually, but nothing about VI has been confirmed.
Where is GTA 6 set?
The fictional state of Leonida, which stands in for Florida. Rockstar has named six areas: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga.
